Scuba Dive Isla Mujeres

Aqua Adventures dive shop is an International PADI Resort facility #19146 and currently the only AUTHORIZED PADI member on Isla Mujeres. We have been in business since January, 2004. We are located in the center of town on Calle Hidalgo, in Plaza Almendros, and our NEW Dive Operations and Learning Center and Pool are located in Marina Paraiso (across from the airport). Our easy access locations make it convenient for you to find us whether you are staying in Cancun or locally on the island. Our shop is open year around. We are dedicated to providing the best personalized snorkel and dive services on the Island. It is our goal to help you, your family, and friends enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean underwater world, in a safe but fun environment with top quality service, and friendly, professional certified staff. Regardless of the type of diver you are, with Aqua Adventures, you can challenge yourself with one of our numerous dives, or with a PADI course. We offer PADI's full range of courses from the Discover Scuba Diver (to try diving) to Advanced Open Water and a Professional Dive Master certifications. Our courses are taught in small groups by certified bilingual instructors. Our pool is an excellent place to practice skills before using them on an open water dive. For the avid diver, or those of you who return to Isla regularly, we offer Preferred Diver Cards which give you our best rates for 10 tanks to apply toward any of our dive tours (except single night dive) along with additional diver benefits. We also offer Preferred Diver cards for couples.

Our dive tours leave from our dock at Marina Paraiso and are guided by our select PADI certified Dive Masters. Our dive schedules are set-up to accommodate experienced/adventurous divers in the morning and new, or newer, divers in the afternoon. Of course, afternoon dives are wonderful for underwater photography and those who prefer more relaxed dives. For bad weather days, or those who want more adventure, we arrange day trip dive tours to some of the Yucatan's famous Cenotes. Our daily snorkel tours run at 12:00 pm daily, with the exception of Sundays in low season. During the summer, we offer special seasonal tours to Snorkel with the Whale Sharks that visit the Caribbean waters surrounding Isla Mujeres from June 15 to September 15.

Our dive boat, 30 feet with a dive platform, is well equipped and staffed with licensed professional marine crew with EFR/CPR and Oxygen administration certificates. We follow PADI standards and practices for safety, certifications, and staff to diver ratios, and carry emergency oxygen on board our dive boat. We use TUSA scuba equipment that is routinely maintained and fill our aluminum dive tanks with our own compressor.

In addition to our awesome boat, diving and snorkeling staff, an underwater photographer can accompany you on any of our snorkel and diving tours to document your adventure.
